Autism Compass ("we", "us", or "our") is designed to help families track behaviors and find patterns. We take privacy seriously and collect as little data as possible.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data You Enter
Autism Compass allows you to log: behaviors, mood, sleep, activities, and notes. This data is stored locally on your device by default. We do not access, read, sell, or share this data.
1.2 If You Enable Cloud Sync
If you choose to enable Family Sync, your data is encrypted and stored securely using Firebase. This data is only accessible to family members you explicitly invite.
2. How We Use Information
We use your data solely to provide app functionality. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as required by law.
3. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Your data is protected by Firebase's security infrastructure.
4. Your Rights
You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app. If you have questions, contact us at support@autismcompass.app.
5. Children's Privacy
Autism Compass is designed for parents to track their children's behaviors. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
